Here is a synopsis of Feedburner Networks:
FeedBurner has launched a new service to give its publishers the ability to organize themselves into networks, groups of folks who publish similar content and want band together to leverage the power of many to cross-promote their content and get more attention.Email me your url or leave a comment with your email address and url and I will mail you an invitation. When you email me make sure you say that you want to join the "Blogging Chicks Network."

Great idea, but I wonder if you've considered mybloglog? I'm not sure of the relative differences but I've found mybloglog pretty good

LOL www.mybloglog.com is the biggest social networking site for blogs
It has communities, chat and neat little widgets that show who has visited your blog recently (look near the bottom on the right hand side of my sidebar).
It's set up for groups.
I don't think it has advertising in the feeds but otherwise it's pretty good.
