I'm closing the blogroll
I haven't had the time to devote to the blogroll and I doubt that this fall will be any different so I have decided to stop updating it. I will not be deleting the blogroll so if you want to keep it on your blog, it will be available.

I've finally updated the Metablog to Blogger Beta!
They'll be other changes to the blogroll as well. I'm going to randomize the blogroll. If you like going through the blogs in alphabetic order you can go here for an alphabetic listing of the blogroll. Randomizing the list will let me know when I have dead links and will increase the traffic for blogs that update often.
As you may notice I've installed the blogroll on its own page and then I've linked to the page in the sidebar, this is how I suggest everyone install the blogroll. It's getting big and it takes awhile to load but if you have it on it's own page, that won't be a problem.

No Carnivals Until December
Since interest in the Carnivals has wained and I'm only getting a trickle, I'm going to suspend doing Carnivals until Christmas. I thought we could do a Christmas Carnival on Dec. 23.
Since it's time to write my exegesis paper, my church history paper (on the Greek apologists) and preparing for finals, I won't be adding to the blogroll until after Dec. 16. Please email me if you need to change something or want to be added but I won't reply for awhile.
If I get a chance during breaks, I'll try to get to some of my email. I certainly don't want to be overwhelmed by it when I'm done with classes :-)

I'll be putting up the Carnival tonight and if you're having problems with the blogroll
Please don't dump it. I'm going through the blogroll and am deleting those who don't have the blogroll on their blog. If it's hanging up your blog, then publish it on a post (as if you were blogging about something) and then put a link to that page in the sidebar. If you have any problems with it, email me and I'll try to help.

Carnival of the Blogging Chicks #52
The Carnival is meant to showcase the blogs, you don't have to send in something that's profound. In fact, it's better to send in something that reflects your blogging style so that potential readers get a feel for what type of a blogger you are. Who knows? They might just think you've got something. There will be a Carnival next week. Send in whatever is indicative of your blogging style or a post that you want more people to read.
